Eagle Theatre Announces Resident Theatre Partnerships

HAMMONTON, NJ — Eagle Theatre is proud to announce the launch of a dual-residency partnership program with Broadway Bound Players and Fool Moon Theatre Company, expanding theatrical opportunities for performers of all ages and experience levels throughout South Jersey.
The program establishes Eagle Theatre as a creative home for emerging and experienced performers alike, reinforcing the theatre’s commitment to arts education, community engagement, and lifelong participation in the performing arts. Together, the two resident companies create a theatrical pathway that supports performers from childhood through adulthood.
Broadway Bound Players to Lead Children’s and Youth Programming
As Eagle Theatre’s resident youth theatre company, Broadway Bound Players will oversee programming for performers from grade school through college age. Through productions, workshops, and educational opportunities, the company will give young artists a place to develop their skills, build confidence, and gain valuable stage experience.
The company’s first production at Eagle Theatre will be Ravenscroft, Don Nigro’s dark comedy and Gothic mystery, presented September 4–6. Set in England in 1905, Ravenscroft follows Inspector Ruffing as he investigates a man’s mysterious death after a fall down a mansion staircase. Faced with five clever women offering conflicting accounts, Ruffing must uncover the truth: Was the death an accident? Was one of the women responsible? Or did the mansion’s phantom ghost play a role?
Broadway Bound Players will also produce Eagle Theatre’s Holiday Musical. Auditions are currently underway; performers can learn more and submit materials in the Auditions section of www.theeagletheatre.org.
Fool Moon Theatre Company Finds a New Home at Eagle Theatre
Joining the program as Eagle Theatre’s resident adult theatre company, Fool Moon Theatre Company will provide performance opportunities for actors continuing their theatrical careers after college, returning to the stage after time away, or exploring acting as a creative pursuit.
To launch the partnership, Fool Moon will present an encore production of its sold-out musical hit, The Drowsy Chaperone. A favorite among Margate, New Jersey audiences during its original run, this beloved musical comedy now comes to Eagle Theatre as the company establishes its new artistic home. Tickets will be available in early fall through both Fool Moon Theatre Company and Eagle Theatre.
